The best teachers and curriculum for learning how to do nails! Nc Nails Academy prepared me so well for achieving my nail license. I met many amazing people who helped my nail journey. The teachers are so helpful and offer many demos and one on ones with different nail techniques! I definitely recommend going here to invest in yourself!

If you’re looking to get licensed and is located in Charlotte or surrounding areas...i highly recommend this school. As a nail tech who has been doing nails for about 2 years prior, i still was able to attend NC Nails Academy and learn SO MUCH. I like the fact that they really prepare you for your state board exams with practice written test and a weekly practical demos. I also liked the fact that the teachers are super cool and personable. It made the days go by fast ☺️ and you can really tell that they love what they do. You will not be disappointed with your decision when joining the NC Nails Academy family.

Wonderful experience. The instructors/teachers are awesome! They really help you grow. The time you spend here feels short but you learn so much. They only plan to help your future and want to give you the best nail education possible. Whenever we wanted to see a new nail trend, they were fast to jump on board and teach us. Glad I chose this school because they made me love this industry even more than I thought.

I HIGHLY recommend NC Nails Academy to anyone who is looking for a school to become a Licensed Nail Technician. I graduated in January (received my license in February), and took both tests immediately after because I felt just that confident after receiving thorough training from the awesome instructors here. The only thing that you need to do to succeed is to show up EVERYDAY with a willingness to learn, and they will fully prepare you to take the State Board exams and pass. I really appreciated the mock practical exams that we did every week because when I got to Raleigh I felt prepared. So I'd say, GO FOR IT, you'll be happy that you did. I think of products that I need just so I can go back to say hi to Mrs. Vy, Mrs. Anita, and Mrs. Tran. Lol

NC Nails Academy is a great school to attend to become a licensed nail technician. From signing up to leaving everything was very professional! You’re taught everything you need to know in works of becoming a nail technician, plus more and you’re over prepare you for the testing. Which is a plus because when you do your testing it’s literally a breeze! I’m glad I made the choice to attend NC nails academy.

NC Nails Academy has to be the best school here in NC hands down. The instructors are very knowledgeable about content in which you need to pursue your nail career. They will MAKE SURE you pass your state-board test written & practical. There is NO WAY you shouldn’t pass!!! Even with COVID crashing in on us, they made school as smooth as possible. The best Manicurist/Nail Tech program in NC!! They have the best teachers who are patient, and teach you sooo much. I learned so much here and the environment is great. I passed my state board exams with ease! They definitely exceeded my expectations of a school when I decided to go into nails, and I’m forever grateful.

This school right here !!! Let me tell y’all something.. If you’re thinking about pursuing anything that has to do with nails then this is the school to do it. I started classes amidst the Covid - 19 pandemic and despite everything going on the instructors stayed on top of everything and the communication was outstanding!! They prepared us for state board every week which was so helpful! I passed both my exams in the 90th percentile. This is literally the best nail school in Charlotte.

No matter if you’re someone who knows absolutely nothing about nails to someone who enjoys nails as a hobby this is the place to go 100% . You are taught ALL of the absolute necessities of nails from PROPER sanitation ,the right way to shape and sculpt , how to do A LOT of different art techniques to create beautiful nails and the list goes on !!! . The school would be nothing without the awesome teachers that are there to help you on your nail journey , they work with you 1 on 1 to help you with whatever you need , they don’t just leave you to fend for yourself and hope you catch on eventually , they will stop what they’re doing if you come to them with a question or concern and help you solve it . What is also another great thing is that you are 1000% prepared for the state board exam from the weekly mock practical to the computer test and textbooks YOU ARE SET UP FOR TOTAL SUCCESS!!!! there is honestly NO OTHER place that treats you as family and not only wants you to be successful but actually helps you along the way .

Mrs. Vy challenged me to complete a design I would have never done on my own. Open my eyes to trying & even if I fail, I have nothing to lose however, much to gain. N.C. Nails academy is impressive!! I made the right choice to have chosen this school to attend. If you want hands on experience, it’s hands on from the very first day of class. All the materials and information to pass this course and to be successful is given to you during class. You just gotta be a sponge to absorb it all. The instructors are highly educated and full of experience. We do theories/studies in the morning and services in the afternoon. Every Thursday morning we practice our practical just like we do at State board. I have to say among others who attended the State board practical when I attended we were the most organized. We all showed up in our uniforms as requested and our cleaned packed bag with our school logo on. Our bags were packed and on point. Others came in unprepared whereas our class was prepared to take the state boards. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to come out on top and ready to go to work. Thank you to all the instructors Mrs. Mai, Mrs. V, Mrs. Anita, and Mrs. Roma for an awesome 8 weeks. Well appreciated!!

I picked this school because of a high rating and I was not disappointed. I was skeptical going into it because I've heard story about how little you learn from a nail school but I was pleasantly surprised. The instructors is very professional and knowledgeable. The program is design to equip you to be successful as a nail tech and not just to past a state exam.
The first week, we learned so much I thought my brain would explode. I love the way the program was designed. I love that the instructor takes their time with us to show us the correct way of doing things.
I love that they not only teach you the fundamentals but also stress the importance of why we need to know what they are teaching. The whole learning environment on the second week and on is design to look and feel like you are working at a nail salon. You are given a chore each week and you are expected to perform a service.
I was so nervous about the state written and practical exam because I have no prior nail experience but I passed both exam on the first try. This is because we practice every week and the teacher reminds us to study and provide us with all the tools we need to succeed. We definitely see a difference in preparation between NC Nail Academy student vs. Others at state board.
Thank you Ms. Kanh Mai, Ms. Vy, Ms. Anita, and Ms. Roma for your effort, dedication, patience, and for empowering us to be the best nail tech that we can be. I appreciate you ladies so much. This school is the best choice id pick for a wonderful nail technician education. I have graduated and passed both of my required tests for my licensing. This school had me beyond prepared and with my crazy ocd and test anxiety i passed everything with flying colors and gained the confidence i needed. I love these lady's and appreciate their out standing will to go so over and beyond for their students. Even if you aren't living in charlotte and your worried about the drive. I'll tell you now it's worth the drive you get your moneys worth. I recommend this school hands down. Even if your a busy parent and are worried about how your going to make it work.
